World Filtration Institute-hosted webinar highlights need for standards, data integrity and health-first approach to air quality management

POST-EVENT REPORT FILTRATION HOUR, the webinar by the World Filtration Institute (WFI), on February 19, underscored the growing complexity surrounding Indoor Air Quality (IAQ), and called for a transition towards more structured governance,
standardisation and accountability. Held under the theme, ‘Filtering theAir Quality Noise’, the event, in panel discussion format, brought together specialists from academia, industry and media to examine the challenges posed by fragmented data, inconsistent
standards and limited public awareness.

Filtration Hour – Filtering Air Quality Noise
We need concepts for healthy indoor air – whatever it takes!

Heike Krüger took part in the WFI Filtration Hour and was impressed by the passion and contributions of the outstanding panellists. This discussion was a wonderful opportunity to draw attention to underestimated topics.

She was delighted to be able to present the topic to this outstanding group.

Her conclusion:

The issue of indoor air pollution is very complex. The first important step is to bring all relevant issues to the table in order to develop concepts from experts for healthy indoor air that we can rely on – whatever it takes!
